About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the company’s IT infrastructure. You will ensure the availability, security, and performance of critical systems and services. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in network administration, server management, and security best practices, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Microsoft Azure Certification (ex. AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator) preferred, with practical experience in cloud infrastructure management.

Requirements

  • Proficient in operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, Unix)
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Experience managing and administering Microsoft Azure environments, including virtual machines, networking, and security configurations
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with non-technical staff
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration, network management, or IT support
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of infrastructure components

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Azure Certification (ex. AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator) preferred, with practical experience in cloud infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

  • System Setup & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), and network devices. Ensure continuous system uptime and performance by performing regular maintenance, updates, and patches.
  • Network Administration: Manage and maintain local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other related systems. Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for system users, resolving issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity. Assist in the installation and configuration of software and applications.
  • Security Management: Monitor and ensure system security through routine audits, firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures. Perform regular backups, disaster recovery, and manage data security protocols.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor system performance, network traffic, and storage resources to ensure efficiency. Provide regular reports on system health, incidents, and upgrades.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for network and system configurations, policies, procedures, and changes. Ensure that all systems comply with relevant industry standards and internal policies.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with other IT professionals and teams to integrate, troubleshoot, and enhance systems and services. Participate in IT projects and recommend improvements for system architecture.
