SAIC is currently hiring a System Administrator to support the INSCOM Military Intelligence Brigade (MIB) in Fort Gordon, GA. The System Administrator will serve as part of a support team and will be available to respond to the issues defined by INSCOM G7 FM and the 116th MI BDE. Candidates will provide support for SAN integration, configuration and Level I/II sustainment of INSCOM CI, as well as System Administration for Windows, Linux, and Solaris administration and other application expertise on emerging systems. The role includes providing support to the underlying system architecture management applications like VMWare Virtual Center, IBM Director, and other platform tools supporting configuration, monitoring, and documentation. Additionally, the System Administrator will assist in the installation and maintenance of the Virtual Environment VM 6.7 for four networks, and will maintain VDI functionality. The role also involves assisting in TTC and TGS integration and maintenance for Operational Ground Station (OGS) workstations, maintaining AD for SIPR/JWICS/CXI and NSA provided service/maintenance for user accounts, and assisting with host malfunctions on applications running in the stack as necessary. Note: This role supports a 24/7 Service environment and the SA will support a rotating-shift work schedule.

  • Respond to issues defined by INSCOM G7 FM and the 116th MI BDE.
  • Provide support for SAN integration, configuration and Level I/II sustainment of INSCOM CI.
  • Perform System Administration for Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
  • Support underlying system architecture management applications like VMWare Virtual Center and IBM Director.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of the Virtual Environment VM 6.7 for four networks.
  • Maintain VDI functionality.
  • Assist in TTC and TGS integration and maintenance for Operational Ground Station (OGS) workstations.
  • Maintain AD for SIPR/JWICS/CXI and NSA provided service/maintenance for user accounts.
  • Assist with host malfunctions on applications running in the stack.
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph (US Citizenship required).
  • Understanding of Virtual Environment VM 6.7 and its functionality.
  • Experience with assisting in TTC and TGS integration and maintenance for OGS workstations.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certified Security+.
  • Computing Environment Certification (e.g., Linux+, Server+, Red Hat, Microsoft Windows Server, etc.).
