About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified Systems Administrator to support a federal program based in Springfield, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. This role is available fully onsite on a 1-9 PM shift.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a related field
• Proficiency with AWS C2S Suite and tools
• Experience with creating and managing IAM users/roles/policies and S3 bucket policies
• Ability to code/script in Python and manage Linux/Windows-based systems
• Extensive AWS Cloud Formation knowledge (YAML and/or JSON)
• Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of experience in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems
• Isolate and resolve problems involving applications, operating systems, hardware, and communications infrastructure
• Install and load the operating system and application software
• Monitor and report on system health using tools like Elasticsearch Kibana and AWS Cloudwatch
• Integrate new technologies into existing systems and support transitions and migrations
