About The Position

Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware. Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms. Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems. Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the infrastructure platforms. Performs infrastructure platform maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained. Level I performs routine tasks with some supervision.

Requirements

• IT Security Designation: ADP/IT-II
• Investigation Required: Position designated Non-Critical Sensitive (Tier 3). Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain Tier 3 national security eligibility (Secret-level investigation)
• IA Technical/Management Designation: IAT II and CE
• Commercial (Baseline) Certificates: IAT II: Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Associate level certificate for supported technology as approved by the COR.
• Experience in this Discipline: Two (2) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency
