About The Position

Your combination of people skills and system administrator expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. As a lead system administrator on our team, you'll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available, constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies, update and patch critical systems, and implement enterprise thought processes in the current infrastructure. You'll guide your team as it provides insights through monitoring and performance management. Your system administration expertise will be vital as you evaluate opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning, and identifying opportunities for modernization. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. Requirements

5+ years of experience administrating systems, including user profile configurations, search setup, access and authentication options, general site administration and best practices, and all aspects necessary to manage an enterprise environment
Knowledge of system administration in a secure environment
Ability to install or deploy Sites, Servers, solutions, configurations, and routine patches
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows and networking infrastructure
Ability to conduct regular checks and performance tuning of secure environments
Ability to provide training and support to end-users in the Secure working areas
ability to lead a team and foster collaboration outside of the region
Ability to expand enterprise capabilities by evaluating current processes and procedures, and bringing suggestions to leadership
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience deploying and managing servers and network infrastructure
Experience authoring and executing PowerShell commands and scripts
Experience with IT operations and security information
Knowledge of network operations
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technolgy, or a related field
