DMI, LLC is seeking a System Administrator Lead to join us. The role involves leading a team of system administrators responsible for enterprise IT systems, managing escalated incidents, patch management, and configuration oversight. The candidate will implement and enforce DISA STIGs, RMF controls, and DoD cybersecurity requirements, document SOPs and system configurations to support continuity of operations, and report system health and compliance metrics to PMO and Government leadership. The position also includes providing O&M support for various systems and infrastructure, including NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and Special Access Systems, as well as managing VDI and SQL Database infrastructure.

  • Leads a team of system administrators responsible for enterprise IT systems.
  • Manages escalated incidents, patch management, and configuration oversight.
  • Implements and enforces DISA STIGs, RMF controls, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Documents SOPs and system configurations to support continuity of operations.
  • Reports system health and compliance metrics to PMO and Government leadership.
  • Provides O&M support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS systems as well as P2P SAR infrastructure for approximately 400 users.
  • Provides O&M support for Special Access System infrastructure for approximately 150 users.
  • Provides O&M support for Printer infrastructure, including Pharos Secure Print.
  • Develops, implements, manages, and maintains VDI for thick/thin/zero clients and server virtualization technologies.
  • Provides O&M support for SQL Database infrastructure.
  • Provides O&M support for OMC server and desktop-based software applications.
  • Provides data backup and restoration capabilities for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and Special Access Systems.
  • Supports replication of network file share volumes via Distributed Files System w/ Replication (DFS-R) between the NCR and NSGB locations.
  • Provides support for storage area network (SAN) and encrypted file storage capabilities.
  • Creates/maintains standalone workstation images in accordance with DOD security standards.
  • Provides systems recovery and repair operations employing industry best practices for systems troubleshooting and fault isolation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred degree in an IT-related field.
  • Certifications: DoD8570.01M IAT Level II, VCP, and either the MCSE Core Infrastructure or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.
  • Clearance: Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility.
  • 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years of experience with Microsoft System Administration in an enterprise environment, including Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic Scripting.
  • 4+ years of experience leading tasks of a similar size/scope.
  • 4+ years of experience with security configuration of Windows Server/Windows 10, Microsoft SCCM or similar technologies, maintaining PKI Infrastructure, implementing and managing VDI Infrastructure, and server virtualization technologies.
  • 3 years’ experience with Vormetric data encryption solutions (preferred).
