About The Position
Daily Tasks Performed: Maintain the Linux environment used for CAE Development on both Virtual and Physical Machines, on-prem and on cloud. CAE Application Installation and Maintenance, CAE HPC Job Submission Script Maintenance, System Patching and Maintenance, Task Automation Daily/Weekly Tasks: CAE Linux User Support - Incidents, Questions, etc. Handle Application Installation and Update Requests Monitor overall health of CAE Linux Environment Provide Status update to Team Leadership on work completed, work pending, and roadblocks Monthly/Annual Tasks: Apply monthly patches to systems Maintain and develop automation for application installation, network storage management, and user management Work with the CAE Team Leadership and Business Leadership to continuously improve the CAE Linux Environment
Requirements
- Linux System Administrator Experience
- Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Experience - Pre, Post, and Solving
- Familiar with High Performance Computing (HPC)
- Familiar with AWS and Azure Cloud
- BASH Scripting, Python, Server Patching
- Kubernetes, Docker
- Ansible
- Teraform / AWS Cloud Formation
- Associates (minimum)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors degree (preferred)
