About The Position
Our client is a rapidly scaling fintech company delivering a robust payment gateway and card processing solutions for merchants worldwide. Their platform enables global payment acceptance, flexible pay-in and pay-out flows, and tailored settlement processes. As a System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer, take ownership of internal infrastructure, employee environments, and core IT systems. This role is critical in ensuring stability, security, and scalability across the organization, while enabling teams to work efficiently in a distributed setup.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineering role
- Strong understanding of regional infrastructure (EU / Canada) and experience configuring stable, secure cross-location connectivity
- Strong hands-on expertise in networking, VPN configuration, and secure connectivity
- Experience with remote access technologies (VDI, RDP, cloud workspaces)
- Good understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Working knowledge of scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or similar) for automation
- Solid experience administering both Linux and Windows systems
- Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Clear and effective communication across technical and business teams
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Ownership mentality with a proactive attitude
Responsibilities
- Manage IT onboarding processes, including provisioning accounts, access rights, and working environments
- Design and support remote infrastructure solutions such as virtual desktops and cloud-based environments
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot secure network connections (VPNs, tunnels, etc.)
- Deploy and support internal systems, tools, and services used across the organization
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively address reliability and security risks
- Provide hands-on technical support, resolving system, network, and hardware-related issues
