Position Summary The role of the System Administrator II - Communications reports to the Technology Services Manager. This position is responsible for the management and maintenance of multiple communications systems including common VoIP, POTS, contact center, faxing, and paging systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Previous experience in a system administrator, technical enterprise IT role, or similar role, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Analyze data and prepare report regarding findings
  • Participate in enterprise-wide application/system deployment and upgrade, including planning, testing, and rollout
  • Support network security best practices and requirements
  • Develop, manage, and maintain various analog and digital communications systems
  • Maintain managed systems utilizing a proactive approach
  • Provide escalation point for communications and system issues
  • Provide daily oversight of Cisco Unified Communications systems
  • Configure VoIP devices and manage processes regarding changes to the device
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
