About The Position

System Administrator I Job Summary: Hatalom is seeking a Systems Administrator I. The Systems Administrator I - works independently under general supervision to ensure the integrity and performance of workstations and server data by implementing standardized software and hardware solutions for "Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability" (JLCCTC) and "Mission Command Information Systems" (MCIS). This role is critical in ensuring that the performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users. The Systems Administrator I - conducts regular hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. An additional three years of experience as a System Administrator can be substituted for the lack of a degree.
  • Minimum of five years of computer experience in information systems design and management.
  • At least three years of experience in the analysis and design of business applications for complex large-scale or mid-tier computer systems, or LAN-based systems.
  • Must possess a SECRET clearance.
  • Required certifications: IAT I, in accordance with (IAW) 8570.00 and 8570.01.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and security practices.
  • Experience with hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Ability to implement and maintain standardized software and hardware solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Implement standard software and hardware solutions to maintain the integrity and performance of workstations and servers for JLCCTC and MCIS.
  • Ensure the performance and security of computers align with the operational needs of network users.
  • Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issues related to workstations, servers, and network configurations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technologies and security practices to ensure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to improve system performance and security measures.
