About The Position

The Tier 3 Systems Administrator delivers advanced sustainment and troubleshooting of enterprise systems for the DHA Domain and Directory Services Branch (DDSB). This role provides expert support across on-premises and MED365 cloud environments, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of enterprise IT services.

Requirements

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science or Military Training or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise services including mJAD, Exchange Online, encryption services, eDiscovery, and MED365 tenant operations.
• Develop, validate, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures, ensuring DHA enterprise systems remain resilient and recoverable.
• Enforce and validate data encryption on desktops, laptops, and end-user devices, ensuring compliance with DoD/DHA directives.
• Customize and manage enterprise monitoring rules, alerts, and reports, providing actionable performance and availability insights.
• Implement and sustain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key Encryption (PKE) solutions in compliance with DoDI 8520.02.
• Produce After Action Reports (AARs), Situation Reports (SITREPs), and Executive Summaries (EXSUMs) for system outages, interruptions, and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with Tier 2 administrators and enterprise engineering teams to ensure escalation paths, knowledge transfer, and continual improvement of IT services.
