Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven expertise in server hardware, software, operating systems, and virtualization.
  • Strong troubleshooting, project management, and technical communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Valid Utah driver's license, willingness to travel as needed, and flexibility to work additional hours when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Credit Union systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and security of servers, virtual machines, cloud systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra ID resources, including VMs, storage, networking, SharePoint, email, and identity management.
  • Manage storage area networks, virtualization infrastructure, and server lifecycle, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Develop, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Refine and optimize Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related IT systems.
  • Mentor and provide expert guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 System Administrators.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in budget planning, research new technologies, and recommend solutions to enhance IT performance.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of all systems and data.
