  • 10+ years experience as a System Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or related infrastructure/operations role.
  • Hands-on proficiency with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and/or Azure).
  • Experience deploying, managing, and monitoring containers (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
  • Comfortable with scripting, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of Linux administration, PostgreSQL, Redis, and production support operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a remote collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with security compliance, monitoring, and alerts in production environments.
  • Knowledge of startup environments, fast-paced shipping, and using automation for rapid iteration.
  • Previous exposure to AI- or algorithm-driven products and data-heavy systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and automate system deployment, configuration, and updates using industry best practices and modern tools.
  • Implement, monitor, and improve security protocols, access controls, and backup/disaster recovery strategies.
  • Design, maintain, and document CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, outages, incidents, and user support requests with urgency and empathy.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable integration, deployment, and operation of backend services and databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.).
  • Help shape our DevOps culture, automation practices, and operational standards as we scale.

Benefits

  • Central role in shaping our next-generation infrastructure and DevOps practices.
  • Work closely with world-class AI and backend engineers on cutting-edge products.
