The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the entire product development lifecycle—from concept and design to engineering, manufacturing, and launch—with a specific focus on how digital systems enable these stages. Technical Orchestration: Identify and manage complex technical integration points across the Industrial System (PD, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing). Ensure that "technology enables process" by understanding the data hand-offs between domains. Execution Alignment: Support PI Planning by translating high-level business objectives into technical requirements and managing cross-functional technical dependencies. Strategic Roadmap Execution: Align program achievements to the overarching strategic roadmap, driving the development and deployment of process changes and technical enablers. Technical Problem Solving: Proactively engage with engineering and IT teams to resolve hurdles and roadblocks. You are expected to "dive deep" into the technical root causes of delays rather than just reporting status. Systems Risk Management: Drive issue and risk resolution at the cross-functional L3 level, using data-driven insights to predict and mitigate technical bottlenecks. Lifecycle Integration: Ensure that the Synergy Program's technical solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with Ford's modernization goals (e.g., Cloud, MDM, and 3DX). Established and active employee resource groups Systems Thinking: In-depth understanding of the Product Development domain with the ability to see how technical changes in one area impact the end-to-end Industrial System. Technical Fluency: Proven experience driving technical integration discussions and managing dependencies between complex software or engineering domains. Analytical Depth: Strong analytical skills to assess integration needs, evaluate technical trade-offs, and identify architectural solutions. Strategic Communication: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with Industrial System tools and technologies (e.g., 3DX, MMP) and how they interface within a global enterprise. Influence & Leadership: Inclusive leadership style with the ability to lead through technical influence and build meaningful relationships across Engineering, IT, and Business functions. TPM Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Technical Program Management role or leading large-scale systems integration. Agile Mastery: Experience managing programs in Jira, specifically using data to track velocity, blockers, and technical debt. Data & Infrastructure: Knowledge of emerging digital technologies, IT integration across domains, and modernizing legacy IT infrastructure/applications. Change Management: Experience in Organizational Change Management—specifically helping teams transition from legacy processes to new digital workflows. Execution-Oriented: Self-starter with a "bias for action" who can identify what needs to be done technically and drive it to completion. Ford+ Alignment: Most importantly, the successful candidate will exhibit the Ford+ behaviors, working diligently and ethically to achieve the success of the Ford+ plan. Organizational Navigation: Politically savvy in navigating a large-scale organization to achieve technical outcomes. Domain Expertise: Deep experience with Ford Industrial Systems (PD, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality). Modernization Focus: Experience driving IT modernization and "Cloud-first" mentalities within a traditional manufacturing environment.
