Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current First Aid Certification.
• Successful completion of state tested nursing assistant course or equivalent may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous nursing home experience with acceptable references strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Monitoring residents and reporting any abnormal behaviors to the nurse.
• Following nursing guidelines as issued by state regulations.
• Conducting 2-hour checks on residents and responding to pages from residents' personal emergency buttons.
• Actively participating in outstanding customer service and maintaining respectful relationships.
