Located within the Department of Student Assessment and MTSS in the Office of Teaching and Learning, Tutor Corps is an initiative focused on high-dosage, targeted tutoring in Math for grades 6-8. Job Summary: CPS Tutor Corps Tutors will be staffed at various schools across the district in order to provide targeted academic and social/emotional support through a holistic, equity-based approach. This part-time/temporary position will be compensated for time worked on an hourly basis. The work schedule for this role will consist of an estimated 20-30 hours per week for an anticipated period of 10 months, beginning in August of 2025 and ending in June of 2026. Due to the part-time/temporary nature of this work, this position is not eligible for health benefits. This role will report to the principal at the tutor's placement school.
