About The Position
We are looking for a Team Lead in our Switchgear division! The ideal person is someone communicates with clear and concise guidance, one who is proactive identifying solutions before problems arise, champion a safety centric culture, and go above and beyond to achieve superior quality on the products we manufacture. The Team Leader lead will be responsible for the personnel and product in their work center(s). They will handle personnel training, quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives in their area. Product and personnel status will be measured and reported on to the Production Supervisor. Team Leads are responsible to monitor and manage the completion of shop orders and operations as determined by the part number routing, ensuring operations are complete on time and at or under the allotted labor hours. They actively manage the safety culture, implement refined policies, and ensure their cells are in safe working order. They also review quality data to ensure that manufacturing quality is improving and that the MoM and work instructions are updated to reflect corrective actions.
