Requirements

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Self-starter with exceptional organization and administrative skills
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English
  • Friendly and professional telephone etiquette
  • Exceptional PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Operate the telephone/switchboard per Firmdale standards
  • Inquires as to the nature of calls to refer to the appropriate person or service.
  • Ensuring that any guest request or issue is communicated to the manager on duty and follow-up takes place
  • Sends messages by email, informing intended recipients as required
  • Compiles daily reports and distributes them to applicable department managers
  • Updates guest profiles in Opera PMS
  • Covers reception shifts when required
  • General administrative duties as assigned
