About The Position

This person will serve as a front-line representative for the dealership. They will greet all customers with a smile as they enter the showroom, they will direct consumers to the appropriate people and departments and answer basic inquiries. This person will also answer all incoming calls and direct them appropriately. They will answer calls in a cheerful, eager to assist manner and will ensure they communicate with the appropriate managers related to any customer issues to ensure a timely resolution. This person makes follow up calls and or sends email to customers after service. They serve as an operator for the entire dealership and take and manage all incoming calls from inside and outside of the dealership. They also help with vehicles stock ins, scanning and other lite accounting tasks they will be trained on. This position must be someone who has social awareness, is discreet, respectful, understands chain of command, and who understands the importance of the role and always represents themself at work professionally.

Requirements

• Previous switchboard operator with at least one year of experience
• Handle a minimum of 20 lines
