About The Position
The Switchboard Operator is responsible for answering all calls in a courteous and timely manner, updating any and all information when necessary, and calling out "on call" employees as needed in the call group. This position requires availability to work morning, evening, and night shifts.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Six months of experience in a similar position is required
- Correctly operate telephone equipment and other equipment used by switchboard personnel
- Must have a strong visual and hearing acuity and manual dexterity
- Strong oral communication skills
- Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time
- Indicate whether you have ever been convicted of a crime, including any misdemeanors and/or DUI/DWI
Responsibilities
