As a Switchboard Operator II at GDIT, you will support the Department of Defense's mission by operating a switchboard or telephone console to route incoming and outgoing calls. You will greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel, handle overseas and emergency calls, and provide accurate information in person and via phone or email. Your role will also involve maintaining call accounting databases and providing customer support in a military environment.
