About The Position

The Switch Truck Operator operates a yard truck in the shipping yard to move and position trailers for loading and storage. Requirements

• Ability to safely operate switch truck.
• Maintain good housekeeping and always follow safety policies and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to work as a team player.
• Perform additional duties as requested or required.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Precast experience preferred.
• Experience with tractor trailers / switch trucks a plus.
• CDL License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the yard truck to safely move trailers around the shipping yard.
• Position trailers for loading and move them to a staging area for pickup.
• Remain aware of locations and travel directions of Mi-Jacks and other vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safety.
