About The Position

Reader Precision Solutions is seeking a Swiss Screw Machine Operator at our new facility in Elkhorn, WI on second shift. This individual will be responsible for loading raw materials, monitoring the machining process, adjusting machine settings as necessary, and ensuring the quality of the finished parts on our Tornos & Escomatic platforms. We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to delivering excellence.

Responsibilities

Operate Tornos Swiss machines according to job specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process to ensure proper operation.
Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality and meet production targets.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on Tornos Swiss machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components.
Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet all quality requirements before releasing them for further processing or shipment.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production quantities, and any quality issues encountered.
Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and quality inspectors, to optimize production processes and improve product quality.
Complete any additional duties or projects as assigned.
