CNC Swiss Machinist (2nd Shift) Shift Hours (includes 20 min paid lunch; Monday-Friday workweek) 2nd shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm "We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $25.00-$35.00/hour, 10% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.”

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including two years minimum of Swiss CNC experience REQUIRED
Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and experience working with small precision parts to close tolerances required.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as basic knowledge of lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines according to job specifications.
Load raw materials and verify tooling alignment and offsets.
Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Make necessary program edits and adjustments to maintain tolerances.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
Perform preventative machine maintenance as required.
Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Work closely with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
