About The Position
An automotive, heavy equipment and industrial automation company in Loves Park, IL is looking for a Swiss CNC Machinist for a 1st shift opportunity. Responsibilities: Set-up machines, modify the program as necessary, install tool registers, and offsets. Check parts for dimensions and proper finish against prints Monitor the machine, detect malfunctions and make adjustments as needed to control the process Setting up and operating CNC Swiss machines to make parts exactly to print.
Requirements
- Brands you'll work with: Star SR20 Star ECAS 20 Star SR32J Star SV38
- Materials you'll work with: Aluminum Stainless Steel Steel Brass
- You should be proficient in: GD&T G-Code M-Code Machine Setups for Production Runs Blueprint Reading
- Machines & technologies you'll use: CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) CNC Swiss Lathe (Star) Calipers and Micrometers
