About The Position
Swiss CNC Machine Operator Full-time | Permanent | Hourly $20 - $30 an Hour | Plus a shift differential $1,000 Sign-on Bonus!! Multiple Positions Available! Relocation Assistance Available! Shifts Available: Day Shift | 6:00 am - 5:30 pm | 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) Night Shift | 5:30 pm - 5:00 am | 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) | 10% shift premium Weekend Night Shift | 5:30 pm – 5:00 am | 4 days per week (Friday-Monday) | 15% shift premium Weekend Day Shift | 6:00 am - 5:30 pm | 4 days per week (Friday- Monday) | 11% shift premium Shift Details: Currently, employees are expected to work a mandatory 5th day of overtime to meet business requirements. Requirements
- 2+ years of related CNC Machine Operating experience.
- Cooperative, team-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to lift 25 pounds regularly throughout shift.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and walk for entire shift.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.), as well as programmed CMM equipment.
- Complete Operation Basics Training.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for production and operation of multiple CNC machines in team-based environment
- Responsible for general/daily maintenance on machines to keep up with production.
- Responsible for ensuring quality of parts through regular inspection during production.
- Follow all safety guidelines as stated by the company.
- Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing (will train)
- Inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.), as well as programmed CMM equipment (will train).
- Make offsets & change tooling per provided layout (will train).
- Communicate with fellow team members, and management, of job status and party quality.
