The Job The Warehouse Lead oversees and coordinates the daily operations within the distribution center. This role works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and leads a team of Warehouse Associates, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is a plus.
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems.

Responsibilities

Supervision: Provide guidance and leadership to Warehouse Associates, assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring adherence to procedures.
Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.
Order Fulfillment: Assist in order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments, ensuring products meet quality standards.
Training: Train new Warehouse Associates on warehouse processes, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Problem-Solving: Address issues and challenges that arise during daily operations, working to find effective solutions.
Safety: Enforce safety policies and promote a safe working environment, conducting regular safety checks and reporting any hazards.
Reporting: Assist in generating reports related to warehouse performance and inventory accuracy.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to meet warehouse goals and objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
