TRIDENT has an opening for a Security Officer to provide professional safety and security coverage at a secured commercial site in Cupertino, CA. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.
Must hold or obtain a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
Valid California Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a Security Specialist team to safeguard customers and employees in commercial settings.
Walk designated areas to maintain a visible security presence and help prevent incidents.
Recognize, report, and address irregular or unsafe conditions on the premises.
Document and follow up on security incidents, accidents, and facility maintenance concerns.
Fulfill requests for assistance from supervisors, client staff, or fellow security team members.
Support employees and visitors during evacuations, emergencies, or other hazardous situations.
Assist with crowd management and collaborate with public safety agencies as needed.
Check employee credentials when granting access to restricted areas on client property.
Handle parking enforcement and vehicle-related issues on site.
Engage with customers and employees in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
Provide First Aid, CPR, and AED support in medical emergencies (when certified).
Ensure all exterior access points — including doors, gates, and windows — are properly secured.
