About The Position

This position involves preparing, cooking, and serving customers in outlets within the casino. Key functions include taking and ringing in orders, accepting payments, stocking and replenishing counter items, and cleaning. The attendant will also assist with daily preparations, cook food as ordered, prepare produce, and cut meat. Adherence to prescribed sanitary safeguards for food handling and cleaning, as well as all safety requirements, is mandatory.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Takes orders from customers and serves the order when ready.
Rings in the order on the register correctly and accepts payment.
Stocks and replenishes condiments, napkins, straws and other counter items.
Cleans counters, tables and trays.
Helps put trucks away on delivery day.
Will make sure that all money and paperwork is in an orderly manner everyday.
Assists with daily preparations.
Cooks food according to what is ordered by customers.
Prepares produce for service.
Cuts meat.
Follows prescribed sanitary safeguards in handling all food and cleaning all surfaces.
Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions.
Other duties as assigned.
