Big Blue Swim School is looking for a Senior Manager to take the next step in leadership. Requirements

  • Proven Leadership Experience – Experience managing teams and daily operations
  • Operationally Minded – Strong organizational and administrative skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a consistently exceptional experience for swimmers and families
  • Support conversion of trials into weekly enrollments through strong front-desk execution
  • Monitor customer issues, escalations, and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution
  • Partner with the GM on retention, scheduling efficiency, and service recovery
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 15–25 Swim Associates and front desk staff
  • Lead daily operations and act as Manager-on-Duty when the GM is offsite
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1s, coaching sessions, and performance feedback
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of instructors and staff
  • Help reinforce accountability, culture, and Big Blue standards across all shifts
  • Own key administrative workflows including scheduling support, timekeeping accuracy, and onboarding coordination
  • Assist with payroll review, PTO tracking, and compliance documentation
  • Maintain training records, certifications, and required staff documentation
  • Support reporting, operational metrics, and internal audits as needed
  • Help implement SOPs and ensure consistency across daily operations
  • Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and operating to Big Blue standards
  • Support oversight of water quality, pump room checks, and safety procedures
  • Act as a point of contact for maintenance issues and vendor coordination
  • Ensure staff certifications and safety protocols are followed at all times
