About The Position
The Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for conducting an instructional aquatic program aimed at increasing safety and swimming, fitness, or diving skills.
Requirements
- Must be at least 14 years old.
- Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.
- Ability to maintain a high level of readiness and preparedness in handling emergency situations.
- Subject to outside environmental conditions. Daily entrance into the water is required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing ≤ 30lbs on a daily basis. Lifting assistance is required when lifting > 30lbs.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and demonstrate appropriate aquatic skills to participants.
- Complete appropriate certificates and reports for individual participants before the end of each session.
- Report any equipment or resource needs to the Swim Lesson Coordinator.
- Inform participants of meeting location prior to each session.
