About The Position

Boar's Head Resort is now accepting applications for seasonal Swim Instructors to join our Sports Club team! As a Swim Instructor, you will be working closely with the Aquatics Manager to determine lesson schedules, emergency procedures, lesson procedures/protocols, paperwork, certificates, and registration.

Requirements

• Prior experience in swim lesson instruction.
• Good organizational, communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with swim lesson programs and coordinating registration/attendance, skill sheets and recording instructor hours.

Nice To Haves

• Strong swimming abilities.
• Prior guest service experience.
• Water safety certification.
• Lifeguard certification.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Aquatics Manager and Swim Lesson Coordinator to review all policies and procedures.
• Attend weekly meetings to discuss suggestions, techniques and address customer comments.
• Provide excellent customer service in a professional manner according to 4 Diamond Service Expectations.
• Maintain a well organized program tracking attendance system, registration and instructor hours/commissions.
• Pick-up Lifeguard shifts if qualified and interested.
• Act as a substitute for other Instructors when needed.
• Teach Private and Group Swimming Lessons while following BHSC protocols, procedures and policies.
