Daland Swim School is seeking a skilled and experienced swim instructor to teach individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels how to swim. The swim instructor will be responsible for conducting safe and effective swim lessons that align with the needs and abilities of our swimmers. This role is essential in helping students develop their swimming skills, ensuring they learn proper techniques, and fostering a love for swimming in a safe environment. The instructor will greet all clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming attitude, creating a positive atmosphere for learning. The swim instructor will implement lesson plans tailored for various age groups and skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced swimmers. Providing instruction and feedback on proper swim techniques, breathing, and safety skills is a key responsibility, following the Daland Swim School teaching curriculum. The instructor will evaluate swimmers' progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure continuous improvement. Maintaining a clean and safe environment is crucial, as is communicating with parents or guardians regarding swimmer progress and areas for improvement. Additionally, the instructor will enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all swimmers. Regular attendance at training sessions and meetings is required to stay up-to-date on the latest swim instruction techniques and safety protocols. This part-time position offers flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, making it ideal for individuals who are passionate about swimming and teaching others life-saving skills.
