About The Position

At Watermelon Swim, we’re hiring positive, engaging Swim Instructors to teach swim lessons and water safety in a supportive, upbeat environment. Whether you’re a student, parent, educator, coach, or simply someone who enjoys working with children, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

No prior swim instructor experience required — we provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• Friendly, dependable, and encouraging individuals
• Strong communicators who build trust with children and parents
• Comfortable in the water
• Experience working with children (parenting, teaching, coaching, childcare, camps — all welcome)
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain within 45 days)
• At least 16 years old

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children
• Lead group and one-on-one instruction
• Encourage swimmers with patience and enthusiasm
• Help children build lifelong confidence in and around the water
