About The Position
The Midlothian Family YMCA is seeking part time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool! We are looking for swim instructors with open availability. The pay for this part time position starts at $14.00 per hour. Requirements
- Applicants should be enthusiastic and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills.
- We are looking for swim instructors who can work a variety of shifts with a variety of ages.
- Candidates must have current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Current YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, or Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certifications are preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Using a variety of tools and teaching techniques, swim instructors will work with small groups of students teaching swimming skills, basic water safety, and the YMCA core values.
