Requirements

Previous swim instruction experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train passionate new instructors
WSI certification preferred
Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED and First Aid for adult, child, and infant preferred — we’ll help you get certified within 60 days of hire
Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers ages 6 months to 10 years , advanced swimmers , or students with special needs

Responsibilities

Teach swimming skills in accordance with the SafeSplash Swim Labs curriculum in a fun, positive, and structured environment
Lead multiple swim sessions across different levels and age groups to help swimmers progress and gain confidence
Provide continuous, positive, and encouraging feedback to swimmers and families
Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and skill progression
Maintain a safe and engaging atmosphere for all swimmers
