About The Position
The Patrick Henry Family YMCA is seeking part time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool! This part time position starts at $14.00 per hour. Requirements
- Candidates must have current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
- Swim instructors should be enthusiastic and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills.
- We are looking for swim instructors who have flexible work schedules and the ability to work with a variety of ages.
- Using tools and teaching techniques
Nice To Haves
- Current YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, or Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certifications are preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Swim instructors will work with small groups of participants teaching swimming skills, basic water safety, and the YMCA core values.
