About The Position
The Club Swim Instructor is responsible for teaching private and group swim lessons in a safe, professional and fun manner. The role involves assisting with coaching Streamliners swim practices, responding to questions and concerns from members and guests, and ensuring the completion of accounting related swim lesson paperwork. The instructor must follow all pool rules and Red Cross safety standards, work closely with lifeguards to organize pool space, assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, and maintain clear communication with the Aquatics Director. Attendance at meetings and trainings for swim instructors and the Aquatic Team is required, along with assisting lifeguards when needed, applying first aid as necessary, and completing all timekeeping and scheduling administrative tasks daily.
