About The Position

The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for Swim Instructors and we are excited to have you join our team! The Swim Instructor maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for students in swim classes.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 years old; Must be able to furnish working papers.
• YMCA/ARC Swim Instructor certification or equivalent experience, preferred.
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certifications required.
• Must be able to demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a supportive and positive atmosphere for all individuals.
• Provide direct leadership and instruction in swim classes.
• Motivate students during swim classes.
