About The Position
Join our team of aquatics enthusiasts who are dedicated to providing a safe and exciting aquatics experiences for participants of all ages and ability levels. We are looking for responsible, energetic individuals who enjoy teaching, working with young children, and are serious about their job. If you are enthusiastic, love teaching children, and love the water, this could be the perfect job for you! The City of Davis provides swim lessons to participants of all ages and abilities in a safe and exciting aquatic experience. The Swim Instructor position is responsible for providing safe swim instruction, demonstration of proper holds and support, ability to teach and encourage participants of all ages and abilities, and foster an enjoyable experience in the water. Swim instruction may take place at either Manor Pool or Arroyo Pool.
