About The Position
We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Swim Group Fitness Instructors to lead innovative and engaging lap swimming-based classes. This role requires a strong background in swim group fitness instruction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to create inclusive and motivating classes for members of all fitness levels. Availability includes multiple dayparts during the week
Requirements
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, AFAA, or equivalent)
- Aqua-specific certification (AEA, SCW, Masters, USAT or equivalent) preferred
- CPR/AED certification (required or willing to obtain)
- Previous experience teaching aqua or water fitness classes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Teaches a minimum of two weekly classes
- Lead safe, effective, and high-energy lap swim classes
- Provide modifications and progressions as needed
- Engage with members before and after class to build continuously build community
- Ensure a safe environment through proper supervision and use of equipment
- Collaborate with the Group Fitness Manager to maintain programming excellence
