About The Position

As a Swim Teacher at FOSS, you’ll teach life-saving swim skills to children and adults in a fun, safe, and splashy environment. No experience needed—we provide paid training to help you confidently teach our Swim Path curriculum. Have a passion for water? Come share your love of swimming with your community and FOSS will provide you the training to confidently teach our Swim Path curriculum. You will lead the students in a structured, yet fun water environment to develop their life enriching skills to provide a lifetime of confidence and safety around water. Bring your ability to improvise, play, and connect because laughter is an important part of our teaching method. The company provides paid training, a consistent part-time schedule (minimum 10-12 hours/week), competitive pay starting at $19.50+/hour with additional pay for weekend and substitute shifts, and year-round employment with growth opportunities. Requirements

Must be 18+ years old
Comfortable working in a 91-degree, chlorinated indoor pool
Able to lift/hold up to 50 lbs.
Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Experience with children
Aquatic experience

Responsibilities

Teach 1-4 students per class using hands-on instruction (following the FOSS Swim Path curriculum) and promote swimmer safety.
Ensure a safe, engaging, and educational experience for students, similar to working in daycare or childcare settings.
Engage with parents/guardians on swimmer progress.
Demonstrate the FOSS Cultural Pillars: Connect, Collaborate, Empower, Belong
