Requirements

• Proven experience as a swim coach or lifeguard with coaching responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, strokes, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of various ages and skill levels
• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Passion for swimming and athlete development

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead swim training sessions tailored to different skill levels and age groups
• Teach proper swimming techniques, safety protocols, and stroke development
• Monitor and evaluate swimmers’ progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized coaching
• Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and safety guidelines
• Motivate and encourage swimmers to achieve their personal and team goals
• Maintain equipment and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the pool area
• Collaborate with other staff and management to coordinate events, competitions, and training programs
