About The Position

As a Swim Teacher at FOSS, you’ll teach life-saving swim skills to children and adults in a fun, safe, and splashy environment. While prior experience is not required, successful candidates bring reliability, communication skills, and a willingness to learn. We offer paid training to support your development as a Swim Teacher in our Swim Path curriculum. Have a passion for water? You will lead the students in a structured, yet fun water environment to develop their life enriching skills to provide a lifetime of confidence and safety around water. Requirements

Must be 18+ years old
Comfortable working in a 91-degree, chlorinated indoor pool
Able to lift/hold up to 50 lbs.
Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with children preferred (aquatic experience a plus)

Responsibilities

Teach 1-4 students per class using hands-on instruction (following the FOSS Swim Path curriculum) and promote swimmer safety.
Ensure a safe, engaging, and educational experience for students, similar to working in daycare or childcare settings.
Engage with parents/guardians on swimmer progress.
Demonstrate the FOSS Cultural Pillars: Connect, Collaborate, Empower, Belong
