About The Position
Position Summary: Provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for participants on Greater Holyoke YMCA's competitive swim team, the Holyoke Vikings.
Requirements
- Certifications: CPR, AED, Basic First Aid certification.
- Must be able to demonstrate competitive swimming skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
- YMCA swim coach certification or equivalent is a plus (required to be on the deck at league meets)
- USA Swimming Coach certification is a plus.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to instruct and observe participants in proper technique
- Ability to lift equipment, and to assist participants if needed.
Nice To Haves
- YMCA swim coach certification or equivalent is a plus
