About The Position

Pitt-Bradford, a NCAA Division III institution, is looking for a Swimming Coach Intern. This is a temporary, on-site, 10-month position. The intern will primarily report to the head swim coach and will support the head coach in all phases of the swim program. Responsibilities include coaching and teaching (75%) and administrative duties (25%).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year of playing and/or coaching experience at the college level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse community.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and provide instruction during practices and matches.
• Support player development through individual and team sessions.
• Assist with both on-campus and off-campus recruiting efforts.
• Coordinate campus visits for prospective student-athletes.
• Monitor academic progress and provide support for student-athletes.
• Assist with contest management and event operations as needed.
