About The Position

We offer Swim Associates: Competitive Pay: Our new employees earn between $13 and $15 per hour, depending on experience. Consistent Schedules: We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities with consistent schedules so employees can plan and balance their time away from work. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Previous swimming experience not required
Loves teaching kids and helping them grow
Wants to have fun!
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of time
Ability to work in the water for 15-25 hours per week
Must be willing to work weeknights and at least one weekend day
Must possess ability to communicate and respond to student and customer interactions
Lifeguard/CPR Certification ( this can be obtained during training at Big Blue )
Must pass a background check
Ability to commute/relocate: Cottonwood Heights, UT(84121): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

Provide instruction to students following approved training methodology and lesson plans
Create a fun environment for students that is focused on learning
Adhere to all safety guidelines and emergency procedures
Evaluate and report student progress using approved criteria
Communicate in a professional and effective manner in order to provide a high level of service during all customer interactions
Assist with front desk responsibilities as well as maintain a clean facility
Attend ongoing training as scheduled
Represent Big Blue Swim School with a high level of professionalism and conduct in the workplace
Other duties as assigned
