UIKit powers nearly every interface you see on iPhone and iPad - from touch and event handling to animation,text, layout, and high-level components like UICollectionView, UIHostingConfiguration, and UIGestureRecognizer. As part of the UIKit team, you'll collaborate closely with Human Interface designers and partner frameworks to prototype, refine, and deliver the next generation of UI technologies. You'll work side by side with internal teams to create APIs that inspire developers and power incredible experiences. Nice To Haves
- Experience with SwiftUI
- Background in framework-level rather than application-level development
- Knowledge of UIKit on other platforms (e.g. visionOS, Catalyst, CarPlay)
- Understanding of UIKit's animation and text APIs
- Experience working with UIKit's collection view and menu APIs
- Familiarity with system-level tracing and performance analysis tools
