About The Position

The position of Sweeper Operator will be instrumental in the repair and maintenance specialized equipment used in the cleaning and maintenance of ready-mix concrete trucks, tractors, and trailers. This position requires management resources in adherence with all company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as compliance with all federal and state regulations, including OSHA, TCEQ etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Minimum two years of related experience and/or a combination of both.
• Thorough knowledge of ready-mix sweeper and other related heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Applicant must possess a valid driver's license and must meet MVR requirements. CDL is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ready-mix sweeper machine, which is used to sweep and clean construction sites, roads, parking lots, and other areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on the sweeper equipment to ensure it is in working condition.
• Adhere to all safety procedures while operating the sweeper, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring the safety of workers in the vicinity.
• Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and other team members to coordinate work activities effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.
