About The Position
The SWAT Product Flow Specialist at Best Buy plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of inventory within the store. This position involves a variety of inventory adjustments and the use of data collection tools to maintain accurate stock levels. The specialist is responsible for consistently and accurately completing stock counts and effectively communicating these results to the relevant stakeholders. A key aspect of this role is the identification and communication of high shrink categories, which are areas where inventory loss is significant. In addition to identifying these categories, the SWAT Product Flow Specialist must determine the root causes of replenishment issues. This involves a thorough investigation and follow-up with leadership to ensure that any problems are resolved in a timely manner. The specialist will execute the inventory integrity process from end to end, which includes completing daily inventory tasks as assigned. They will also be responsible for coaching store employees and leadership on the importance of maintaining inventory integrity and addressing any process gaps that may arise. This position requires a proactive approach to inventory management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in stock handling. The SWAT Product Flow Specialist will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the store's operations.
